Zambia Airports Company Opens Training, Restaurant At KKIA

Zambia Airports Company Limited (ZACL) has announced the opening of the Southern Africa Institute of Aviation Science and Technology’s (SAIAST) second campus and the unveiling of the new Flying Food Restaurant, both located within Terminal 1 of Zambia’s largest airport, Kenneth Kaunda International Airport.

“With the strategic goal of transforming KKIA into a SADC aviation hub, we celebrate these milestones,” the Airports Company noted, adding that “SAIAST is set to deliver unparalleled Aviation Training across various categories, encompassing Cabin Crew, Airport Operations Fundamentals, Travel and Tourism, Passenger Ground Services, Ground Operations, Airline Customer Service and Aviation Security Awareness.”

Furthermore, ZACL noted the opening of the Flying Food Restaurant which it said “aligns with our strategic goal to reimagine the customers’ experience!”

While commending Flying Food Restaurant for their commitment to job creation as well as the promotion of authentic Zambian cuisine, ZACL expressed its excitement “to see the impact of these two Zambian-owned entities that promise to contribute positively to our economic goals!”
